An original Game Boy rebuilt around a fresh IPS backlit screen. The board is an authentic Nintendo DMG. On top of the new laminated screen and glass lens: all eight electrolytic capacitors replaced, and new buttons and silicone pads.

The result feels like an unboxed 1989 Game Boy with a screen that’s actually pleasant to look at: sharp, bright, with a clean grid you can read in any light. Tested with a real cartridge before it shipped (usually Tetris, sometimes Pokémon Red).
